On a challenging opening day at the Irish Open wayward drives were not uncommon and players ability from difficult positions tested. The final resting place of Thomas Pieter’s drive on the 9th however was unique, it left the young Belgian retrieving the ball from the pocket of an unsuspecting spectator.
