Justin Rose has won the Indonesian Masters by eight shots in Jakarta to secure his third tournament victory in seven weeks. The 37 year-old posted eight birdies and an eagle in his first 13 holes in the final round to storm home after leading by three after the third round, shooting 62 to close the tournament in style. Rose totaled 29-under for the event.
Phachara Khongwatmai, an 18 year-old from Thailand shot 65 to finish second in the event. Khongwatmai became the youngest winner of a professional golf tournament when he took the Sing Hua Hin Open title two months after his 14th birthday in 2013.
The winning margin was Roses’ largest at a professional tournament. Justin Rose remains in 6th position in the official world golf rankings.
