PXG Sues TaylorMade

PXG has recently filed a lawsuit against TaylorMade Golf due to what they deem “many” patent infringements. According to a tweet from Bob Parsons himself, the infringement has occurred from Taylor’s new P790 iron.

The P790 irons are filled with a material TaylorMade call “SpeedFoam”, that is said to improve accuracy and distance whilst quietening vibrations made from impact, resulting in a better sounding iron. PXG’s 0311 irons are said to use a similar construction and injected with a material that serves the same purpose as TaylorMade’s “SpeedFoam”.

It will certainly be interesting to see how this plays out, clearly Mr. Parsons is confident!
