1857, the year that FootJoy came to be, is also the name of the brand’s new line of golf shoes and apparel revealed at the PGA trade show. FootJoy are well and truly re-winding the clock, releasing a 100% leather golf shoe in the classic style of old.
According to FootJoy, each shoe takes around 36 hours to make by hand! Available on July 1st, the new range certainly isn’t cheap as you can expect from a product that is manufactured with care by hand. The cleated leather shoes will sell for “around $750”, the dress shoes will sell for “around $595,” and the suede (that’s right, they’ve even got a new suede shoe available) will be “around $475”. That’s some expensive footwear! Check out the photos below from Golf WRX and you’ll see why. Class.
