New Course Record at The Old Course!

Tyrell Hatton has gone back-to-back at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship with a convincing 3-shot lead over a late surge from Ross Fisher. Fisher shot an 11-under 61 in his final round at the home of golf to move up the leader-board and take outright 2nd! Fisher had a putt for eagle on 18 to shoot 59 (never before achieved on the European Tour), but it fell short and unfortunately he missed the birdie putt afterwards. Amazingly, his par on 18 still managed to secure the official course record for the Old Course at St. Andrews. What a round! But it wasn’t enough as Hatton strolled home for victory with 6-under in his final round for a total of 24-under for the tournament.

Some unbelievable shots were displayed throughout the tournament, and it didn’t stop in the final round with Kiradech Aphibarnrat making this crazy eagle on the 9th.

352 yard drive. 40ft putt. 😯 Massive from @kiradech_arm. #DunhillLinks ⠀

Westwood, who finished 3-over for the tournament, was unlucky not to have this go close; what are the chances! Even Hatton can’t help but laugh!

“Oh no, that’s not possible!” 🙈
