Golf Goddess

Golf Goddess of the Week!

This week’s Golf Goddess is American Professional golfer Nelly Korda. Nelly, the younger sister of Professional sensation Jessica Korda, started playing the game at an early age and joined her sister on the LPGA Tour in 2017. She won the Sioux Falls GreatLIFE Challenge and finished ninth on the Volvik Race for the Card Symetra Tour money list to earn LPGA Tour status in her first year as a professional in 2017. She also recorded seven top-10 finishes including a T6 at the Symetra Tour Championship to finish in the top 10, and qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open in 2016.

In her 2017 season she ranked second on Tour in eagles (12), and third on Tour in Par-5 Scoring Averages (4.59). In 23 events she made 19 cuts and earnedΒ $442,068. An impressive first year on the Tour indeed! As a 2017 rookie, Nelly had five top-1o finishes including four additional top-20 finishes in her 23 starts.

A big future ahead for Nelly it seems!
