Rickie Fowler has won the Hero World Challenge after being 7 shots behind third round leader Charley Hoffman overnight! Fowler came out of the blocks hot, beginning his round with 7 straight birdies. Fowler closed his round with an amazing 11-under par 61 (-18 total) to claim a four shot victory over Hoffman who managed to only shoot par 72 for the final round (-14 total). The win marks his second for the year and what a performance to do it! Fowler moves to no. 7 in the world, stating that he “finally just kind of got everything to piece together.”
Meanwhile, Tiger Woods shot a 4-under 68 in his final round and looked solid all day despite back-to-back bogeys to finish and one double on the 10th for the round. Woods finished tied 9th with Matt Kuchar at a -8 total.
