Dustin Johnson Wins at Sentry, Fowler Changes it Up

Dustin Johnson used his length off the tee to dominate the field at Kapalua and win the tournament by eight shots over second-placed Jon Rahm. DJ was unstoppable, and his performance off the tee showcased some of the greatest tee shots we’ve ever seen hit. A closing 8-under 65 marks Johnson’s first win for 2018 and what a start to the year it was! If this is any indication of Dustin’s performance with his new TaylorMade driver then strap in and hold on; DJ looked near unstoppable out there and I’m sure the rest of the field took note. Maybe the new TaylorMade drivers are indeed all they are cracked up to be!

GOLF GODS WATERPROOF STAND BAGS!

Despite the field featuring the world’s top 5 players, Johnson made the win look far too easy. Just check out this unbelievable tee shot that fell short by inches for an eagle. Please note that this was on the Par 4-12th, and DJ backed it up on the par 4-14th, hitting the green with his drive again. Yep.

This is one of the greatest drives of all time!

When he’s driving it this good he is unbeatable, this could be a potentially huge year for DJ if the form continues! He finished at 24-under 268 for the event. The eight-shot margin of victory was his largest ever, and it was one short of the tournament record set by David Duval. Jordan Spieth also won by eight shots in 2016. Jon Rahm’s second place position at Sentry moves him to No. 3 in the world. What an exciting start to the new year!

Anyway, here’s the real tough question – yes or no to Rickie’s outfit at Kapalua?
