As reported by news.com.au, television presenter and professional golfer Paul Gow had what he described a “scary” incident with a former caddy of his in regards to a handgun. Gow hired the caddy for an event whilst touring in the U.S., having just met them, when half an hour into an eight-hour drive the caddy brought out a handgun. The pair were travelling from New Jersey to Pennslyvania when the newly hired caddy pulled out a handgun from under the passenger seat and placed it on the centre console “for protection”.
Gow sacked the caddy the following week stating: “he scared me”.
Last year saw two men pull guns on each other whilst on course at a Missouri Golf Club. It was reported that Donald Weber, 56, came to the course to confront two men, including his former boss. It was his former boss, who had the other gun in possession, that said he bought it to protect himself from Weber. How crazy is that!
